Location: Hybrid: Must report to Global HQ in Warren, MI at least three times per week

What you will do

• Collaborate with global purchasing professionals to optimize costs on cutting-edge technology components.
• Develop cost models and confirm supplier reporting through detailed audits.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost reduction activities by identifying waste at supplier sites.
• Conduct on-site workshops and develop improvement plans to address performance gaps.
• Analyze large datasets to support sourcing and negotiation strategies.
• Coordinate with buyers to ensure identified savings are successfully realized.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in project execution.
• Strong competencies in analytical thinking, data judgment, and vendor/supplier management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Must be authorized to work in the US: No immigration sponsorship provided now or in the future.
• Ability to travel at least 25% of the time, including international travel.

Nice to have

• Experience in Automotive, Industrial, or financial industries.
• Operational experience and ability to interpret market data.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic engineering documents.
