What you will do

• Establish and lead a centralized outsourcing function for roll repairs to mitigate internal capacity constraints.
• Manage the full lifecycle of outsourced repairs, including scope definition, vendor selection, execution, and delivery.
• Ensure all external vendors comply with OEM standards, technical specifications, and quality requirements.
• Optimize workload distribution between internal shops and external vendors to maximize network efficiency.
• Improve lead times by proactively managing and expediting outsourced repairs and critical vendor-supplied components.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Sales to enhance inventory management and reduce excess and obsolete inventory.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or outsourcing/vendor management.
• Strong understanding of repair processes, technical specifications, and quality standards in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Experience in vendor selection, performance management, and contract utilization.
