What you will do

• Consult with the CTO and SVP of Product to align workforce planning, org design, and culture initiatives with the technical roadmap.
• Lead the evolution of technical career ladders, ensuring clear growth paths from Individual Contributor to Principal/Architect and Management.
• Foster an R&D environment that balances high-velocity delivery and customer demands with a relentless and competitive culture.
• Coach and mentor technical leads and first-time people managers on feedback, conflict resolution, and team motivation.
• Analyze engagement data and turnover trends within the R&D group to provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Partner with Finance, Talent Acquisition, and People Ops to drive headcount strategy and organizational scalability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 5+ years as a senior PBP supporting R&D in a high-growth SaaS or tech company.
• Deep literacy in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ability to distinguish between various technical roles (e.g., DevOps vs. Backend).
• Proven executive presence and ability to build trust and influence at the C-suite and VP levels.
• Demonstrated experience leading people strategies during periods of rapid scale, such as doubling headcount.
• Must be based in the US; Visa sponsorship is NOT available.
• BA/BS degree required.
