What you will do
- Lead the full subaward lifecycle including partner identification, onboarding, due diligence, and close-out.
- Ensure subgrantee adherence to CDSS requirements, funding regulations, and IRC internal policies.
- Oversee financial monitoring, reimbursement processes, and budget-to-actual analysis for all subgrants.
- Provide technical assistance and training to partners to strengthen their procurement and administrative systems.
- Coordinate with program, finance, and MEAL teams to align subgrant performance with service delivery goals.
- Manage the submission of required financial reports and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in grants management, subaward administration, or financial compliance.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-site or statewide grant-funded programs.
- Strong expertise in subrecipient monitoring, risk assessment, and compliance oversight.
- Experience interpreting state and federal regulatory requirements for funded programs.
- Must be able to perform semi-frequent travel within California.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Public Administration.
- Experience with IRC systems such as PEERS and OTIS or similar grant management platforms.
- Prior experience in humanitarian, refugee, or social service program contexts.
