Director, Internal Audit (Video Games)

Location: Hybrid in Culver City, California, United States; candidates willing to relocate to the Los Angeles area will be considered.

Annual salary: $162,000–$215,000 USD for candidates in California, Colorado, New Jersey, New York, and Washington.

What you will do

• Help build and oversee the internal audit function across all business units.
• Develop and execute a risk-based audit plan covering operational, financial, compliance, and enterprise risks.
• Evaluate internal controls, risk mitigation, governance compliance, and operational gaps.
• Advise operational leaders and the Head of Internal Audit on risk, controls, governance, and compliance.
• Establish an internal audit operating model using in-house resources and co-sourcing or outsourcing where appropriate.
• Improve audit efficiency through data analytics, automation, continuous monitoring, continuous auditing, and AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of progressive internal audit experience, including 2 or more years in a leadership role focused on operational audits.
• Experience in the video game, entertainment, or technology sector.
• Strong knowledge of Global Internal Audit Standards, COSO, COBIT, ISO, internal controls, risk management, compliance, and enterprise risk management frameworks.
• Leadership, mentoring, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with complex multinational organizations and the ability to work effectively in a high-growth entrepreneurial environment.

• Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA or CIA.
