What you will do

• Design, implement, and analyze bidding strategies using optimization and control theory.
• Prototype and analyze different auction mechanisms for specific product areas.
• Oversee large-scale, long-term experiments to improve marketplace health using advanced statistics and ML.
• Develop AI/ML automation algorithms to improve advertisers' return on investment.
• Implement large-scale marketplace optimization methods.
• Develop models for causal reasoning using AI, ML, and statistics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, CS, EE, or related field with 6+ years of experience (or Master's + 4 years / PhD + 3 years).
• Strong background in quantitative fields such as statistical ML, decision theory, operations research, or game theory.
• Expertise in mathematical modeling, optimization, and data mining.
• Compliance with US office attendance policy (at least 4 days per week for those within commuting distance).

Nice to have

• Master's with 9+ years or PhD with 6+ years of related experience.
• 8+ years of experience developing and deploying live production systems within a product team.
• 3+ years of specific experience in Auto-Bidding or Auction Design.
