Salary: $142,800 – $223,400 annually

What you will do

• Develop Gen AI solutions and recommendation systems to improve advertiser and shopper experiences.
• Design and implement scientifically-complex software solutions and critical scientific novelty.
• Define the long-term science vision and roadmap for the Sponsored Brands advertising business.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to launch end-to-end AI solutions.
• Design and conduct A/B experiments based on in-depth data analyses to evaluate solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior scientists to foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Requirements

• PhD, or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in CS, CE, ML, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience building models for business applications.
• Proficiency in programming with Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong expertise in algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, or distributed computing.
• Authorized to work in the US (specifically New York or Seattle).

Nice to have

• Experience using Unix/Linux.
• Professional software development experience.
