TL;DR

Head of SMB Ads Marketing (AI): Defining and scaling the global marketing strategy for small and medium-sized business advertisers on hirify.global’s advertising platform with an accent on acquisition, activation, and long-term retention. Focus on building a self-service growth engine from the ground up, optimizing conversion funnels, and developing scalable lifecycle marketing programs.

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA (3 days per week in office)

Salary: $374K – $415K + Equity

What you will do

  • Define the end-to-end SMB advertiser marketing strategy across acquisition, activation, retention, expansion, and advocacy.
  • Build a segmentation framework to identify priority audiences by business size, industry, and growth potential.
  • Develop positioning and messaging to translate AI advertising tools into compelling business outcomes for SMB owners.
  • Lead self-serve growth initiatives to drive sign-ups, onboarding completion, and repeat spend.
  • Partner with Product teams to optimize advertiser onboarding flows, billing journeys, and measurement UX.
  • Own core funnel metrics including CAC, LTV, activation rate, and repeat advertiser rate.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in growth, product, or performance marketing or SMB go-to-market leadership.
  • Proven track record of scaling SMB self-service advertising ecosystems (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, Amazon Ads).
  • Deep understanding of SMB customer behavior, acquisition economics, and self-serve funnels.
  • Experience marketing self-service SaaS or advertising platforms where conversion and retention are critical.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in experimentation, funnel analysis, and cohort modeling.
  • Must be based in San Francisco, CA to support a hybrid schedule of three days per week in the office.
