What you will do

• Set up and run CNC milling or lathe machines, ensuring parts meet tight requirements.
• Prepare CAM files from CAD, prints, and verbal instructions for quick turnaround.
• Perform part inspections, blueprint reading, and decisions on quality.
• Maintain organization of jobs, inventory, and perform machine cleaning/maintenance.
• Adhere to quality, safety standards, and housekeeping; escalate issues as needed.
• Identify solutions for production issues and complete operator PMs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience as CNC Milling or lathe operator preferred, including setup and basic programming.
• Knowledge of machining in prototype manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, Mastercam, CAD/CAM.
• Ability to read blueprints, use measuring tools (calipers, height gauges, protractors).
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
