What you will do

• Prepare detailed and assembly drawings for precision motion systems.
• Provide general CAD support to design engineers.
• Generate 2D CAD drawings from 3D solid model layouts.
• Load design information into the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
• Collaborate on engineering projects from R&D through to building and testing instruments.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time academic program majoring in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Shrewsbury, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience using SolidWorks CAD.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Vocational schooling in engineering technology or metal fabrication.
