What you will do

• Design and refine prototypes and mock-ups for testing platforms.
• Create custom electro-mechanical test fixtures tailored to specific application needs.
• Conduct physical testing and analysis in a laboratory environment to verify design requirements.
• Collaborate with Hardware, System, Operations, and Supply Chain teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Partner with suppliers to manage component sourcing and ensure cost-effective manufacturability.
• Document design phases, specifications, and test results.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD for detailed mechanical designs and assemblies.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems with practical engineering solutions.
• Must be based in North Reading, MA (Local only)

Nice to have

• Experience designing automation systems, integrating motors, slides, sensors, and controls.
• Familiarity with basic electrical systems and wiring principles.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory testing.
