TL;DR

Account Executive (Rosetta Stone Latin America): Create detailed business plans to reach sales goals and quotas, manage full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals with an accent on developing new customers in Panama and South America. Focus on outbound prospecting via cold calling, value selling SaaS language learning products, and building long-term partnerships in edtech.

Location: Full-time remote for candidates in Colombia (Bogota preferred) with up to 50% travel required.

What you will do

  • Develop new customers and expand businesses in Panama and South America
  • Manage full sales cycle from lead sourcing to deal closure and post-sale customer experience
  • Conduct outbound activities including cold calling and account-based prospecting to build pipeline
  • Meet sales goals, design creative sales strategies, and collaborate with marketing on customer feedback
  • Promote Rosetta Stone at edtech conferences and HR events in Latin America
  • Stay updated on market trends and provide personalized assistance based on customer needs

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
  • 3+ years sales experience in edtech or software in the territory
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven self-sourcing leads via cold calling and outreach
  • Experience in value/solution selling of SaaS, language learning, or training platforms
  • Proficiency in Office 365, CRM (Salesforce preferred), and web conferencing
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, listening, communication, and time management skills

Nice to have

  • Portuguese proficiency
  • Prior exposure in Education, HR, or L&D sectors
  • Deep knowledge of academic sector and language training
  • Experience with large Education and Corporate customers
