TL;DR

Educational Sales Consultant (EdTech): Driving revenue and adoption of K-12 learning programs through consultative partnerships with district-level leaders with an accent on territory planning and relationship management. Focus on delivering effective sales presentations, managing complex sales pipelines, and aligning product solutions with educational outcomes.

Location: Must be based in or able to travel within the Central Valley, CA territory. Role requires >80% travel.

Salary: $69,250–$118,250

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales territory plan to meet revenue metrics.
  • Build and maintain consultative relationships with high-level school district administrators.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations both virtually and in person.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including pipeline creation and accurate forecasting in CRM.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive intelligence to inform future product offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Sales, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in education or educational sales.
  • Proven experience in a SaaS-based sales environment.
  • Deep understanding of the K-12 education landscape and assessment needs.
  • Ability to travel >80% of the time, including driving and flying.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and marketing automation software.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in assessment and curriculum adoptions.
  • Established relationships with district leaders within the assigned territory.
