What you will do
- Define and own enterprise risk platform strategy, aligning technology with business goals for loss reduction, customer experience, and revenue growth.
- Partner with Risk leadership to improve KPIs like fraud loss rate, risk-induced churn, approval rates, and portfolio health.
- Lead execution of large-scale risk initiatives, ensuring speed, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
- Guide evolution of real-time risk decisioning platforms with AI/ML capabilities and modern architectures.
- Build and develop multi-layered engineering organization with focus on leadership, talent development, and business-centric culture.
- Act as advisor to executives across Risk, Product, Finance, Compliance, influencing company-wide decisions.
Requirements
- 15+ years software engineering experience with 8+ years leading senior leaders and multi-layered organizations
- Proven track record owning large-scale risk, fraud, payments, or financial platforms
- Experience influencing business KPIs like loss rate, approval rate, or customer churn
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and real-time decisioning systems
- Strong ability to partner with executives and translate between technical and business domains
Nice to have
- Experience owning risk P&L, fraud loss budgets, or portfolio performance
- Background in AI/ML-driven risk systems and model governance
- Operating in highly regulated financial environments
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering
