Engineering Manager (Fintech)

Location: Remote. Must be based in North or South America (Core hours 12-4 PM EST).

Salary: $180,000 – $240,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams focused on Banking and Prepaid Cards.
• Grow engineers' careers through regular 1:1s, thoughtful feedback, and coaching.
• Own technical quality via code reviews and high-level architecture decisions.
• Drive the adoption and integration of AI tools within the engineering team.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to optimize team processes and workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience leading a team as a manager or tech lead.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Solid product intuition and ability to translate initiatives into engineering tasks.
• High empathy and strong communication skills for a distributed team.
• Location: Must be based in North or South America.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud.
