CAN base pay: $238,000 - $298,000 per year

What you will do

• Set vision and drive execution for Loans Lifecycle engineering organization spanning Loans Platform, Ledger Engineering, and Financial Reporting.
• Own core engineering and business outcomes including loan system of record, ledger pipelines, and financial data delivery to accounting systems.
• Define and execute technical roadmap for service-oriented decomposition, platform scalability, and database architecture to support growing loan volume across geographies.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, Capital Markets, Product, and Compliance for financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Balance product expansion like international launches and new loan types with investments in reliability, speed, and efficiency.
• Drive operational excellence in batch pipelines and online services, including incident response and SLA management.
• Run robust development lifecycle with agentic adoption and foster culture of operational excellence.
• Hire, develop, and retain high-performing globally distributed engineering team.

Requirements

• 15+ years relevant software engineering experience.
• 3+ years managing managers with track record of high-quality development.
• Experience leading multiple teams spanning backend services and big data/batch pipelines.
• Track record driving key company outcomes.
• Comfort partnering across disciplines and influencing leaders.
• Experience hiring, growing, and retaining talent.
• Strong technical depth in distributed systems, data-intensive applications, and database architecture at scale.
• Domain knowledge in financial systems, lending, accounting, or fintech (great if ledger systems, loan origination/servicing, financial reconciliation).
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent practical experience.
