What you will do

• Own the full fraud policy lifecycle, including identity verification, account opening, deposits, and card transactions.
• Proactively identify emerging fraud vectors and redesign controls to prevent losses.
• Define the long-term fraud strategy to anchor roadmap priorities for Product and Engineering.
• Lead cross-functional fraud initiatives with external partners including Visa and banking institutions.
• Act as the primary escalation point for fraud incidents and ATO attacks, leading real-time response efforts.
• Develop fraud dashboards for real-time monitoring and mentor junior analysts to scale organizational capability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in analytics within fintech or consumer products.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or R.
• Hands-on experience with external fraud platforms such as Visa Risk Manager or Socure.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end credit card programs, transaction lifecycles, and chargeback processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs without formal authority.
• Must be based in or able to work from Mountain View, US.

Nice to have

• Experience with Periscope, Tableau, Databricks, Amplitude, or Optimizely.
