Principal Product Operations and Risk Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States

Base pay range: $185,000–$237,500 per year

What you will do

• Support the day-to-day operation of the Product Risk Management function and partner with Product Managers on risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting.
• Analyze user behavior, product usage, customer feedback, and other data with SQL to evaluate product performance and identify improvements.
• Define and drive cross-functional product processes, including product development, user research, product launches, policy management, issue management, and change management.
• Establish documentation, testing, release management, and post-launch product risk monitoring standards.
• Lead assessments and reporting for compliance, legal, security, finance, operational, market, credit, and third-party risks.
• Partner with ERM, auditors, regulators, executives, lawyers, engineers, and product managers on risk reviews, mitigations, and remediation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of risk management experience for B2B and B2C products, preferably in financial services, payments, or technology.
• Experience at the intersection of Product and Risk, with knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
• Experience building Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and programs.
• Experience embedding a risk culture in a rapidly growing technology or financial services business.
• Ability to influence cross-functional leaders, lead diverse teams in complex matrixed organizations, and communicate business insights clearly.
• Proficiency in data analysis using SQL.
