What you will do

• Coordinate substation construction activities to ensure compliance with schedule, safety, cost, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain safety programs and craft training/certification for lineman and groundman trades.
• Lead design constructability reviews and identify risk mitigation plans for construction activities.
• Monitor construction productivity and costs, reporting progress and implementing corrective plans to meet targets.
• Manage site resources, including equipment, materials, and manpower availability.
• Supervise, train, and provide performance management for direct reports.

Requirements

• Must be based in Texas, US.
• 10+ years of construction supervisory experience.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• OSHA Training certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to perform hard physical labor in extreme weather conditions and varied terrain.

Nice to have

• Direct hire Substation construction experience.
• Experience with Outage Plans within construction.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
