Director, Strategy & Operations (Fintech): Designing and executing strategic frameworks for the Consumer Protection Team to optimize the rent payment customer journey with an accent on customer experience insights and cross-functional prioritization. Focus on isolating critical pain points from data, building analytical infrastructure, and driving high-impact projects in a high-growth environment.

Location: Hybrid (New York, NY), 3 days per week on-site. Relocation assistance may be available

Salary: $176,000 – $213,000

What you will do

• Define strategy and translate it into tangible near-term goals and execution frameworks.
• Identify and quantify critical customer pain points using business knowledge and analytical skills.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and functional leads to prioritize customer experience improvements.
• Partner with Analytics and Data Science to iterate on hypotheses and build long-term data infrastructure.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, adapting rapidly to shifting business priorities.
• Distill progress into executive reports and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, product, chief of staff, or startup strategy roles.
• Proven experience within a high-growth tech or fintech company.
• Proficiency in data tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or Sigma.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and sometimes chaotic environment.
• Superior communication skills for executive-level memos and presentations.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to the New York/NJ area for hybrid work.
