What you will do

• Write branching story content for interactive dialogue scenes and gameplay, including mature themes.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams to iterate on narrative content across all production phases.
• Contribute to world building, storyline planning, character development, and environmental storytelling.
• Partner with Cinematics, Design, Art, and Audio teams to ensure cohesive implementation of the story experience.
• Revise and polish dialogue to ensure high standards of clarity, tone, and consistency.
• Maintain organized narrative documentation and playtest content to optimize pacing and player experience.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional writing experience in video games.
• Contributions to one or more shipped titles featuring voiced narrative content.
• Proven experience creating branching dialogue scenes with high player autonomy.
• Ability to translate high-level narrative direction into engaging written content.
• Strong collaboration skills within cross-disciplinary development teams.
• Location: This role is based out of Austin, TX.

• Passion for story-driven action RPG gameplay and systems.
