What you will do

• Design functional mechanics for casino games including base structures, bonus triggers, progressive jackpots, and gamble features.
• Build mathematical models covering RTP, volatility, hit frequency, and payout structures.
• Create PAR sheets, regulatory documentation, and run simulations in Python/C++/etc. to validate models.
• Define symbol hierarchies, paytables, reel layouts, and feature conditions.
• Write prototypes, GDDs, and collaborate with engineering, product, and creative teams.
• Analyze post-launch performance and iterate on live games for balance and engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, engineering or similar; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years hands-on experience in slot game design/mathematics in casino studios – non-negotiable.
• Expert casino math knowledge: RTP, volatility, hit frequency, standard deviation, combinatorics.
• Proficiency in simulations with Python, C++, C#, JavaScript; advanced Excel.
• PAR sheet creation, regulatory standards, player psychology understanding.
• Strong communication to document complex math for technical/non-technical audiences.
