What you will do

• Design balanced and replayable missions focusing on the player experience.
• Implement modular gameplay mechanics using UE5 and Blueprints for efficient content creation.
• Collaborate with narrative, AI, and systems teams to create immersive scenarios and events.
• Prototype complex mission logic and scripted sequences using data-driven tools.
• Iterate on mission pacing and difficulty based on playtest feedback and data.
• Mentor junior designers and establish mission design best practices across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of game design experience with one or more shipped AAA titles.
• High proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 and Blueprints.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating mission design and creative gameplay events with player choice.
• Technical skills in scripting logic, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Experience collaborating with engineering to iterate on mission scripting tools.
• Must be based in North America for remote arrangements.
