Salary: $159,240 – $286,560

What you will do

  • Drive significant financial outcomes through signings and revenue targets for SLED accounts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to state, local government, and K-12/higher education clients on complex technology and operational challenges.
  • Lead C-level client interactions and oversee the delivery of high-quality consulting initiatives and deliverables.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert a pipeline of business development opportunities within the public sector.
  • Manage margin expectations, backlog growth, and fee negotiations to ensure engagement profitability.
  • Foster a culture of continuous professional development and innovation within multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States
  • Proven track record of leading and executing complex projects in a consulting, corporate or public sector environment.
  • Deep understanding of government procurement regulations, including RFPs, RFIs, and cooperative purchasing vehicles (e.g., NASPO, GSA).
  • Experience working with IT Professional Services and Solutions, specifically regarding Cloud migration.
  • Familiarity with public sector compliance frameworks such as CJIS, FERPA, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and StateRAMP.
  • Demonstrable ability to build and commercialize relationships with CXO-level executives.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience working within a government agency, public school district, or university system.
  • Existing professional relationships within California state agencies, municipalities, or educational institutions.
  • Knowledge of digital equity initiatives, smart city programs, or government modernization efforts.
