What you will do

• Manage relationships with external fleet providers and lease companies to ensure business standards and budget alignment.
• Oversee the full vehicle lifecycle for approximately 280 vehicles, from procurement and build to renewal.
• Plan and allocate workforce capacity, including shifts, holidays, and recruitment planning based on demand.
• Ensure full compliance across field operations, managing engineer certifications (ACS, Gas Safe) and training records.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 9 employees through regular 1:1s and engagement initiatives.
• Monitor and control downtime, absence, and productivity costs to improve overall service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fleet management, including vehicle lifecycle, leasing, and maintenance.
• Experience in logistics, resource planning, scheduling, or field service operations.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance (fleet or engineering).
• Proven ability to analyze data and present actionable insights for operational improvement.
• Experience managing budgets, third-party suppliers, and contracts.
• Strong people management and leadership capability.
