What you will do

• Act as the named statutory Transport Manager on the Operator’s Licence, taking legal responsibility for DVSA and Traffic Commissioner duties.
• Manage driver compliance, including monitoring hours, Working Time Regulations, and conducting tachograph analysis and debriefs.
• Oversee vehicle roadworthiness, managing PMIs, daily defect reporting, and VOR vehicle returns.
• Ensure strict O-Licence compliance, maintaining the O-Licence margin and updating VOL records.
• Lead DVSA audit readiness, overseeing compliance dashboards and conducting internal reviews.
• Manage incident risks by leading accident investigations and implementing preventative measures.

Requirements

• Holder of a valid CPC and eligible to act as a statutory Transport Manager for the Hayes operators licence.
• Demonstrable experience managing HGV transport operations for at least 3 years.
• In-depth knowledge of O-Licence undertakings, DVSA expectations, and road transport law.
• Experience with tachograph analysis software, telematics systems, and TMS platforms.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in London - Hayes.

Nice to have

• Valid C+E licence and experience operating HGVs.
• Health and Safety awareness and IOSH Certification.
