What you will do

• Monitor driver hours and ensure strict adherence to the Working Time Directive.
• Maintain records for DVSA audits and conduct weekly fleet damage audits and gate checks.
• Line-manage drivers, providing coaching, guidance, and managing absences and agency cover.
• Schedule and track Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) for tractors and trailers to minimize downtime.
• Manage the end-to-end driver recruitment pipeline to ensure consistent labor pool resilience.
• Collaborate with planning to implement operational changes and resolve scheduling conflicts.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
• Strong awareness of O-Licence compliance stipulations and DVSA standards.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in transport, logistics, or operational supervision.
• Experience in managing drivers.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.
