What you will do

• Lead cross-functional global teams across engineering, finance, and sales to deliver complex software programs.
• Own end-to-end program execution, from initial planning and estimation through to final delivery.
• Develop detailed project plans and schedules for multi-track initiatives, identifying dependencies and critical paths.
• Perform technical tasks including assembling and re-flashing custom hardware, debugging, and sanity testing features.
• Act as the primary point of contact between software developers, technical leads, and customers to translate requirements into executable plans.
• Provide data-driven status, budget, and technical reporting to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in Technical Program/Project Management for software products or Software Development (C, C++, Java).
• Strong understanding of UNIX-based operating systems and embedded software environments.
• Experience managing software implementation and deployment in AGILE environments.
• Familiarity with OS microcontrollers and embedded platforms.
• Must be based in Ottawa, Ontario.

Nice to have

• Hands-on exposure to QNX.
• Experience delivering commercial software in the Embedded or RTOS market.
• Knowledge of quality and compliance standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 9001, or SPICE.
