TL;DR
Scrum Manager (Software Quality Automation): Leading an agile team to build and scale test automation and quality practices for VEST with an accent on CI/CD pipeline support, AI-driven quality solutions, and software visualization. Focus on improving delivery flow, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of built-in quality.
Location: Hybrid (Markham, Ontario). Must report to the Markham office at least three times per week. GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
Salary: $111,700 - $167,600

What you will do
- Facilitate all Scrum events, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Owners and technical leads to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
- Identify and proactively remove impediments affecting team progress related to tools, processes, or alignment.
- Coach team members on Agile, Scrum, and SAFe practices, emphasizing a DevOps and CI/CD mindset.
- Communicate team capacity and progress to leadership and align team objectives with PI and organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Scrum Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead with software teams.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum practices and tooling such as Jira/ESP or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments.
- Must be eligible to work in the target location without requiring current or future immigration sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience in embedded software, automotive, or test automation/quality engineering environments.
- Familiarity with SAFe and large-scale agile (PI Planning, ART events).
- Experience with BDD/BDDU, test automation frameworks, or AI-assisted quality tools.
- Relevant certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe SSM/RTE.
