What you will do
- Lead integrated product team owning design, development, and delivery of subsystem units.
- Establish priorities, manage execution across work packages, and plan milestone/readiness reviews.
- Maintain alignment between program objectives and engineering work while managing cost, schedule, and scope.
- Drive issue resolution, risk mitigation, schedule recovery, and cross-discipline coordination (systems, software, hardware, QA, integration).
- Ensure adherence to processes, quality standards, and system-level requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechatronics, mechanical, electrical, or related)
- 5+ years in design engineering, 3+ years as technical project manager, preferably in space, aerospace, automotive, or regulated environments
- Experience leading cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software) through full development lifecycle.
- Solid grasp of development, verification, validation practices, test planning, and quality gates.
- Proficient in schedule management, cost estimation, completion tracking with tools like MS Project or Jira.
- Effective communicator and decision-maker across engineering, PMO, and leadership.
Nice to have
- Experience with design for space, program development phases, and qualification requirements.
- Knowledge of agile/classical project management for hardware and earned value methodologies.
