What you will do
- Develop measurement and test setups for qualification of opto-mechanical modules or fiber assemblies, considering regulatory requirements, and transfer to operations.
- Define concepts and requirements for mechanical and software design.
- Perform sensitivity analysis, assess disturbance variables, and budget requirements for components like light sources and stages.
- Define test criteria, execute measurement campaigns, and analyze experimental data.
- Verify and validate qualification setups, test procedures, and integrate into operations with series support.
- Formulate assembly and qualification instructions, including calibration and maintenance criteria.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in photonics, optical engineering, optical systems, laser technology, physics or similar
- Solid knowledge of technical optics (optical imaging quality, aberrations) and optical device development
- Experience in measurement and qualification technology, preferably for manufacturing/assembly of optical systems and fiber assemblies
- Experience in evaluation, representation, and analysis of experimental data
- Advanced skills in Python scripting for data analysis
- Business fluent in German & English
- Structured, analytical, and team-oriented way of working
