What you will do

• Own Metrology Lab roadmap, including CapEx planning, infrastructure, and team management to optimize global measurement processes
• Define corporate GD&T standards (ISO/ASME) and lead reviews for advanced tolerance analysis and functional gauging
• Establish measurement correlation protocols and conduct audits with overseas partners in Asia for lab-to-factory alignment
• Oversee high-precision inspections (CNC-CMM, 3D scanning) and lead root-cause investigations on prototypes
• Partner with Supplier Quality and Hardware teams to integrate DFI principles and validate gauges/fixtures
• Mentor and develop technical training programs to elevate metrology and GD&T expertise organization-wide

Requirements

• 10+ years in Dimensional Engineering/Metrology, 3+ years in technical leadership or people management
• BS in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
• Expert proficiency in PolyWorks, Zeiss Calypso, or PC-DMIS; deep experience in SolidWorks and PTC Windchill
• Proven success in DFX/DFI and collaboration with high-volume manufacturing partners in Asia
• Strong grasp of MSA and GR&R studies; ability to translate dimensional data into executive insights

Nice to have

• GD&T certification (ISO1101 or ASME Y14.5) and Six Sigma Black Belt
• Professional proficiency in Mandarin
