TL;DR

Lead HR Business Partner (Biotech): Driving HR strategy, workforce planning, organizational design, and talent development across the organization with an accent on aligning people strategies with business objectives and supporting senior leaders. Location: Austin, TX. Ability to travel ~15% of the time.

Salary: $131,900 - $164,900 USD

What you will do

  • Act as primary HR partner to senior leaders, providing strategic counsel on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development.
  • Drive succession planning, talent strategies, and organizational design to align with business goals and ensure scalability.
  • Oversee complex employee relations cases and implement performance management strategies.
  • Foster culture of inclusion and engagement, collaborating on leadership development programs.
  • Lead change management for transformations like restructurings and M&As.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decisions and track key initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years progressive HR experience, 5+ years as HR Business Partner in fast-paced, high-growth environment (biotech, life sciences, or technology preferred).
  • Experience supporting senior leadership and implementing strategic HR initiatives.
  • Expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, talent development, and HR analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations and coach senior leaders.
  • Ability to travel ~15%.
