TL;DR
Director, People Partnerships (HR): Lead the HRBP function serving as advisor on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, employee experience, and culture with an accent on building manager capability, guiding change, and scaling people programs. Location: Seattle-based company considering remote/hybrid candidates from the US with travel expected 2-3 times per year for company events.
Salary: $150,000 - $210,000 (base) + bonus eligible

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and scale a team of People Business Partners for talent planning, performance, compensation, engagement, and retention.
- Advise executive leadership on workforce plans, organizational design, and change management.
- Own complex employee relations cases, investigations, and risk mitigation.
- Drive talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and retention strategies.
- Partner with People Team centers of excellence to identify trends and improve programs.
- Build manager capability through coaching on performance, career discussions, and inclusive leadership.
- Optimize HR processes, tools, and automation across the HRBP function.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology or related.
- 10+ years HR experience including 5+ years in HR Business Partnership or organizational development.
- Leadership experience managing HRBP teams and coaching senior leaders.
- Proven handling of complex employee relations and change initiatives.
- Strong data literacy with people analytics; experience with HRIS, Tableau/Power BI, HR case tools.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in fast-growing or matrixed organizations and remote team leadership.
Nice to have
- HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
- Experience with collaborative tools like Atlassian, HR systems like Lattice, Pequity, Greenhouse.
