Continuous Improvement Manager (Automotive)

What you will do

• Monitor plant safety and maintain a safe work environment
• Lead Kaizen and Zero Defect teams, coordinate projects and implementations
• Implement hirify.global Operating System (DOS) and Lean initiatives throughout the plant
• Reduce costs, improve efficiency, and support production line improvements
• Design and implement poke-yoke solutions for <15 ppm defects
• Track performance metrics, buffer quantities, and support new program projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in manufacturing environment; automotive preferred
• Experience with Toyota Production System implementation
• Green Belt or Black Belt Certification (plus)
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
• Ability to travel overnight to other plant locations
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and leadership

Nice to have

• Experience in equipment and process setup
• Knowledge of prototype management
