What you will do

• Lead a team to implement lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in materials, labor, and machine utilization.
• Develop and implement process changes to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
• Optimize workflows, sequences of operations, and resource utilization to meet production goals.
• Build and maintain operating plans for the effective allocation of labor and equipment.
• Create and track performance metrics to monitor project progress and drive accountability.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to solve complex operational challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools and methodologies.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Project).
• Must be authorized to work in the US without current or future immigration sponsorship (e.g., H1-B, OPT, STEM OPT).
• Familiarity with automotive manufacturing standards and regulations.

Nice to have

• Completion of Global Manufacturing System (GMS) training.
• Experience in high-volume industrial or automotive production environments.
• Previous experience leading a team.
