Location: Austin, TX. Must be a US Citizen; some positions require U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).

What you will do
- Lead end-to-end payroll for multiple divisions and pay groups, including biweekly/semi-monthly schedules across exempt/non-exempt employees in multiple states.
- Calculate and process wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, retro pay, and special runs.
- Conduct audits, resolve discrepancies, adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
- Ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws, tax regulations, and reporting.
- Integrate HRIS/Payroll (Rippling), timekeeping, and benefits vendors.
- Oversee tax filings, W-2s, 1099s, garnishments; partner with vendors and agencies; respond to inquiries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 5+ years payroll experience in multi-division/multi-pay environments supporting 1,000+ employees.
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll compliance and wage/hour regulations.
- Experience with Rippling payroll system and advanced Excel/payroll reporting proficiency.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment.
- US Citizen; ability to obtain/maintain U.S. government security clearance if required.
Nice to have
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.
- Experience with payroll integrations, implementations, or system conversions.
- Prior experience in shared services or complex organizational structures.
