Product Manager (API & Identity/Access Management)

TL;DR

Product Manager – API & Identity/Access Management (SaaS): Own the strategy, vision, and roadmap for API and IAM platform capabilities with an accent on governance, standards, and scalability across internal and external APIs. Focus on defining consistent frameworks for API lifecycle management, evolving IAM for AI agents including authentication and auditing, and rationalizing the existing API estate for reliable integrations.

What you will do

• Own strategy, vision, and roadmap for API tiers including internal domain, cross-platform, and external customer/broker/third-party APIs.
• Drive adoption of API governance standards for consistent definition, versioning, documentation, and lifecycle management.
• Develop IAM roadmap to support AI agents as principals, covering authentication, permissions, and auditing.
• Rationalize current API estate by cataloging endpoints, identifying inconsistencies, and prioritizing standardization.
• Advocate for external API consumers' needs using research and data to influence developer-friendly design.
• Build relationships with engineering, security, and commercial teams to align on API and IAM standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience owning platform or developer-facing products, ideally API management or IAM.
• Strong understanding of API design (REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI), lifecycle management, and developer experience best practices.
• Familiarity with IAM concepts (OAuth, OIDC, RBAC/ABAC) and agentic identity considerations.
• Ability to make data-informed product decisions and communicate across technical and commercial audiences.
• Experience in SaaS, platform, or API-first environments advantageous.

• Understanding of security and compliance for external APIs and agentic systems.
