What you will do

• Own end-to-end enterprise cybersecurity program including strategy, architecture, operations, governance, and compliance.
• Establish multi-year security roadmap aligned with business priorities, technology evolution, and regulations.
• Lead architectural decisions on identity/access, data protection, zero-trust networks, and secure platforms for clinical/genomic systems.
• Define and execute AI-assisted SecOps strategy using ML, automation, and analytics for detection, response, and efficiency.
• Oversee security operations, incident response, and compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA.
• Present cyber risk updates to executives and Board, driving investment and prioritization.

Requirements

• 20+ years progressive cybersecurity leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or related; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Proven ownership of enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs in cloud-native, high-growth environments.
• Deep expertise in cloud security (CSPM, CNAPP), IAM/zero trust, SIEM/SOAR/EDR/XDR, app/API security, DevSecOps.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted security tools and automation.
• Strong executive communication for risk translation and Board influence.
