Location: Stamford, CT (Hybrid). Must be based in the US and be able to commute to the nearest Hub.

Salary: $170,000 - $290,000 Annual

What you will do

• Lead the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), Detection Engineering, and Cyber Hunt programs across the enterprise.
• Define intelligence requirements and produce strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence reports.
• Translate intelligence into detection content, hunt hypotheses, and response playbooks.
• Coordinate hypothesis-driven hunts across endpoint, network, cloud, identity, and edge/WAF.
• Establish detection standards, including naming, severity, and a structured tuning process.
• Partner with the JSOC and Incident Response teams to improve alert fidelity and reduce noise.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree.
• 8–12+ years of cybersecurity experience with depth in threat intelligence, hunting, or detection engineering.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams or enterprise programs with measurable outcomes.
• Proven expertise building detections within SIEM/EDR environments using the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no visa sponsorship provided.
• Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.

Nice to have

• Certifications: GIAC (GCTI/GCIA/GCIH/GNFA), CISSP, or CCSP.
• Experience in the financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and data access methodologies.
• US Government Security Clearance.
