What you will do

• Support onboarding flexible assets like BESS by preparing materials, configuring trading systems, and coordinating stakeholders
• Translate operational needs into requirements and user stories for algo trading, deal capture, and monitoring systems
• Set up and run analytics and monitoring for trading performance reporting and improvement
• Assist implementation projects with documentation, test cases, rollouts, and stakeholder coordination
• Support design and improvement of short-term market access solutions and contract documentation
• Improve stability and automation for short-term trading processes with trading, operations, and IT teams

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at university in energy economics, information systems, engineering, natural sciences or comparable
• Strong interest in energy trading and flexibility markets, ideally with exposure to German Day-Ahead, Intraday, and ancillary services
• Analytical, structured style and hands-on mindset for process improvement
• Technical affinity with BI/data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI); Python and/or SQL skills a strong plus
• Team player with strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
• Full working proficiency in English; German a plus
