Network Architect Administrator (FSI)

TL;DR

Network Architect Administrator (FSI): Providing support to USG architecture planning for a CENTCOM Partner Network (CPN) technical refresh and expansion, procurement, installation and configuration of CPN client hardware/software and networks with COMSEC devices. Focus on operations support, maintenance, system administration, sustainment and training for CPN, Agile Client, and associated networked sites.

Location: Position located in the CENTCOM AOR; relocation to CENTCOM AOR required for the duration of the contract (3 years). Travel required within assigned country in CENTCOM AOR. US Citizen required; currently hold an active U.S. security clearance or be able to obtain one; current unexpired U.S. Passport. Salary referenced to San Diego, CA.

Salary: 75,000 - 110,000 USD per year (San Diego, CA (FSI))

What you will do

• Support USG architecture planning for CENTCOM Partner Network (CPN) technical refresh and expansion.
• Handle procurement, installation, and configuration of CPN client hardware/software and software licenses.
• Install and configure CPN-related networks with associated communication security (COMSEC) devices.
• Provide operations support, maintenance, system administration, sustainment, and training for CPN, Agile Client, and associated networked sites.

Requirements

• Six (6) years of experience in technical specifications development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving, and analytical/logical thinking.
• At least three (3) years of experience with the CENTCOM Partner Network and Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIX).
• Three (3) years as system manager/integrator in IEEE 802.3 LAN, IEEE 1703-2012 WAN, and converged IP-services using COTS technologies.
• Three (3) years specialized experience in enterprise WAN/LAN infrastructures in allied military shore facilities worldwide.
• Experience with information sharing via email, Web services, chat, Common Operational Picture, and VoIP.
• BS degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Mathematics (or equivalent).
• DoD 8570 IAT-II certification (e.g., Security+); Security+ and one of CISCO certificates or Network+.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting Microsoft OS (Windows 7/10), Windows Server 2012 R2, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, VMWare, Cisco networking.
• Experience troubleshooting/managing cryptographic devices (KG-175D, IPS-250, etc.) and COMSEC maintenance/administration.
• Ability to work independently and communicate progress to leadership.

Nice to have

• CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP Windows 7, Cisco CCENT, Windows MCSA, ITILv3.
• Remedy Help Desk, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with SEWS, GCCS, CPN, Cisco equipment, cryptography devices system administration.
• Strong knowledge of network transport, cyber security, TCP/IP fundamentals, routing/switching (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), VPN technologies, Cisco routers/switches.
• Experience designing/managing SharePoint sites.
• Capable of physical activities (lifting up to 40 lbs).
