What you will do

• Design and deploy Cisco network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls across renewable energy sites.
• Configure and maintain Cisco Firepower/FTD firewalls and SD-WAN architecture.
• Manage site connectivity, including private circuits, LTE failover, and remote access solutions.
• Support SCADA network integration and ensure secure segmentation between IT and OT environments.
• Implement network monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure uptime and security.
• Collaborate with IT, OT, and Cybersecurity teams on infrastructure projects and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Must be based in Houston, TX or able to work onsite.
• 5+ years of experience in Cisco network engineering (routing, switching, and firewalls).
• Strong knowledge of IPsec/GRE VPN tunnels, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN architecture.
• Experience with Cisco Firepower/FTD, ASA, and SD-WAN platforms.
• Ability to travel up to 25% to field environments for project commissioning.
• Physical ability to lift 70 lbs and climb ladders over 4 feet.

Nice to have

• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP).
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850).
• Background in NERC CIP compliance within OT/ICS environments.
