Salary: $165,000 – $190,000

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including SaaS, cloud services, software licenses, and data licensing.
• Build and scale the commercial transactions function by developing standardized templates and playbooks.
• Serve as the primary legal subject matter expert on the procurement and integration of generative AI tools.
• Negotiate AI-specific terms such as model outputs, IP ownership, and safety compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams in Infosec, Privacy, and Finance to mitigate legal risks associated with emerging tech.

Requirements

• J.D. and admission in good standing to at least one U.S. state bar.
• 6+ years of legal experience in law firms and in-house departments focusing on technology transactions.
• Significant experience negotiating SaaS and software licensing agreements.
• Working familiarity with AI technologies, specifically LLMs, embeddings, and agents.
• Ability to work from the Stamford, CT office at least three days per week.
