What you will do

• Execute M&A and strategic transactions end-to-end, from due diligence and deal structuring to post-closing integration.
• Support capital markets activities, equity administration, and corporate governance including board preparation.
• Manage corporate insurance programs in collaboration with brokers and Finance.
• Design and implement scalable legal processes, templates, and playbooks to drive efficiency.
• Act as a business partner to Finance, People, and Operations, translating complex legal issues into actionable guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of combined legal experience, including law firm experience.
• J.D. and active standing in at least one U.S. state bar (California preferred).
• Proven experience advising on complex corporate legal issues.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills to distill complex legalities into clear advice.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a high-growth, dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Prior in-house or law firm experience specifically focused on technology.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence trends and large language models (LLMs).
