TL;DR

Senior Partner Development Manager (TikTok & Emerging Platforms): Leading the end-to-end TikTok partnership and exploring new social media platforms with an accent on strategic relationship building and commercial negotiations. Focus on driving integrations from beta to general availability, maximizing advertising revenue for partners, and coordinating cross-functional execution across Product and Engineering.

Location: Hybrid in New York, USA. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $197,000–$236,000 base

What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end TikTok partnership, serving as the primary point of contact for Product, Ads, and Partnership teams.
  • Drive the partnership from beta to general availability, negotiating commercial terms and aligning on joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Explore and initiate relationships with emerging strategic social media and content platforms to position the company as a first-mover design partner.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define platform-specific requirements and balance innovation with product reuse.
  • Represent the company at senior levels during major partner events and summits.
  • Monitor platform trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics within the creator economy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships or business development within high-growth platform ecosystems.
  • Proven track record of taking a platform partnership from early stages to a scaled launch.
  • Experience working with ad-revenue-driven platform teams and framing partnerships around monetization.
  • Strong commercial skills in negotiating revenue shares, co-development agreements, and joint GTM programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously and align cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing).
  • Must be based in or authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with TikTok or ByteDance.
  • Deep familiarity with the creator economy across multiple platforms.
