What you will do

• Individually deploy multi-modal, agentic AI systems into production, owning the process from scoping to go-live.
• Build and manage relationships with senior client stakeholders to scale AI adoption and align priorities.
• Design and evolve AI agents using prompt engineering, model integration, and AI-assisted coding tools.
• Develop new features and integrate products into client environments via APIs and technical systems.
• Collaborate with the core platform team to translate client insights into actionable product improvements.
• Create internal playbooks and best practices to scale the Forward Deployed Engineering function.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in technical, client-facing roles (e.g., agent engineering, growth engineer, or founder).
• Strong technical foundation in Python, APIs, cloud platforms, and AI/ML tooling.
• Proficiency with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic AI concepts.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes for non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to San Francisco.
