TL;DR

Forward Deployed Engineer (AI): Bridging customer-facing engineering with technical product development to deploy and optimize AI-driven automation systems. Focus on building custom integrations, tuning LLM performance, and ensuring seamless platform value delivery for enterprise clients.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Chicago (Hybrid)

Salary: $120,000 – $200,000

What you will do

Partner with customers from onboarding to ongoing implementation of the AI platform.
Develop and maintain robust integrations between the platform and third-party enterprise systems.
Perform LLM prompting and fine-tuning to perfect voice and transcription use cases.
Build high-impact features and internal tools to solve customer-specific challenges.
Collaborate with the engineering team to iterate on product capabilities based on real-world feedback.
Take full ownership of technical outcomes and customer success stories.

Requirements

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Chicago, IL.
Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on development experience.
Full-stack development experience using React, TypeScript, and Node.
Proven track record building and deploying AI/ML applications.
Experience managing APIs and integration workflows.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a founder mindset and extreme ownership.

Nice to have

Experience with voice stack technologies or audio processing models.
Previous experience in a high-growth startup environment.
