TL;DR

Bid and Contract Manager (Renewables): Lead development, coordination, and execution of customer proposals and contracts for energy storage projects with an accent on compliance, commercial strategy, and cross-functional alignment. Focus on managing end-to-end bid processes, overseeing contract negotiations, building high-performing teams, and driving process improvements for EPC and service contracts.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) in Amsterdam, Netherlands

What you will do

  • Deliver high-quality proposals and contract packages supporting deal conversion and order intake.
  • Lead end-to-end proposal preparation, including RFP reviews, strategy definition, and coordination with Engineering, Legal, and Finance.
  • Oversee contract documentation during negotiation and finalization, ensuring alignment and compliance.
  • Build and mentor a regional team of specialists, managing capacity and performance.
  • Drive process improvements, tool adoption, and metrics for efficiency in proposals and contracting.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Legal, Finance, Engineering, and Delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8–10 years in proposal management, contracts administration, or commercial operations
  • Proven experience managing proposal and contract processes in infrastructure, renewables, or technology sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to lead small, high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of commercial and contractual frameworks for EPC and services projects
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and document management tools

Nice to have

  • Experience with energy storage, renewables, or complex B2B infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled proposal automation or contract management tools
  • Additional European language proficiency
