Location: Must be based in and eligible to work within Europe

Salary: €36,000 – €52,000 (depending on country)

What you will do

• Plan and deliver events including end-to-end venue and vendor sourcing, travel, and accommodation.
• Collaborate with Community Leads to involve members and contributors in events.
• Manage the technical set-up and delivery of online, hybrid, and in-person events.
• Promote events via Discord, forums, social media, and newsletters.
• Track and report key event metrics, costs, and outcomes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in event coordination or support.
• Proven experience delivering events of various scales, from meetups to larger conferences.
• Professional fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Currently based in and eligible to work within Europe.
• Experience with budget tracking and working with external suppliers.

Nice to have

• Experience working with open source or community-driven organizations.
• Passion for smart homes and automation.
• Experience as a Home Assistant user.
• Experience coordinating online or hybrid events.
